About Us
In the year 2020, Ade Mabo, driven by a profound desire to make a positive impact in society, established the Roli Mabo Foundation after volunteering and taking leadership roles in multiple other humanitarian organisations like with Africa Mission (and others) for more than a decade.
The foundation is dedicated to addressing the education and healthcare gaps prevalent in the Niger Delta creeks and other parts of Nigeria.
This initiative was born on the challenging shores of the pandemic, serving as a tribute to his late mother, Mrs. Roli Mabo, who died at the age of 58. And while his mother was alive, she was held back by two shortcomings: a lack of education and a lack of healthcare.
These situations, however, inspired his drive for better education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment and community outreach programs.
Our Programs
Education Intervention
We facilitate a free basic education program for children in these communities by providing sponsorship programs that routinely distribute textbooks, writing materials, uniforms, bags, shoes, learning aids, cash donations, and much more. We also provide a library well stocked with books and textbooks to enhance learning and equip the children for academic excellence and a brighter future.
Economic Empowerment
We provide training, mentorship, and resources, to equip community members with the skills and opportunities needed for sustainable livelihoods. We also provide resources that will foster people into entrepreneurship, income generation, and financial literacy.
Community Development/Support Program
Every day, millions of children around the world go to school on an empty stomach. This affects their concentration and ability to learn. We provide a Food palliative and Community Support Program to alleviate hunger and poverty in the communities we support in the Niger Delta Creeks.
Healthcare Support and Medical Outreach
We offer free healthcare services to underprivileged families, especially those who can’t afford it or have any access to it. Our healthcare program involves setting up FREE healthcare centres and FREE pharmacies in multiple communities. Our foundation also provides free medical outreaches, sponsoring major and minor surgeries.
