What we do
H.E.F.E PRORAMS
We run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices that can be approached at any time.
Healthcare Support
Our free Healthcare program (a well-equipped clinic and fully stocked pharmacy) ensures that these children have access to medical care for a sound mental health for learning.
Education Intervention
We provide free basic education to children and give them access to education support program such as scholarship scheme which routinely provides textbooks, writing materials, uniforms, bags, shoes, learning aids, cash donations and more to the children. We also provide scholarships for random indigent individuals who want to further their education.
Some of our beneficiaries include:
- Aisha is a beneficiary of Roli Mabo Foundation Scholarship Program. She is currently studying at LEAD City University, Ibadan, Nigeria
- Enitan, who is studying Nursing at the University of Medicine, Ondo State, Nigeria is a beneficiary of the Scholarship Program
- Three (3) children were adopted from the Gimba Family in the North and awarded scholarships.
Food Drive and Support
Every day, millions of children around the world go to school on an empty stomach – hunger affects their concentration and ability to learn. There are also millions of children – particularly girls – who simply do not go to school because their families need them to help in the fields or perform domestic duties. ~ UN-World Food Program.
Roli Mabo Foundation provides a robust Feeding Program and Community Support Program to alleviate hunger and poverty in the Niger Delta Creek
Economic Empowerment
We created a parents’ compensation bonus of up to N20,000 which we give to parents to encourage them to keep their children in school which in turn stops parents from forced child labor.
We provide an Economic Empowerment Program for local residents on the creek and helping them earn income outside of oil and gas, fishing and cutting wood.
We are planning to set up a Cassava farming system to economically empower the youths. This also helps to bring in more people to the riverine communities.
